Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the Knee, particularly sports injuries
Dr Francois Tudor is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in conditions of the knee, particularly sports injuries to the ligaments, cartilage and meniscus.
Dr Tudor works with patients who have knee injuries or arthritis that are causing pain or disability. He also works as a trauma surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital, treating fractures and major traumatic injuries.
Dr Tudor is compelled by the role he plays in assisting his patients to regain an active, healthy, and fulfilled life after their injuries or arthritis. He finds deep fulfilment when he sees his patients recover and return to their normal lives.
Dr Tudor is renowned for his ability to perform complex knee surgery and his excellence in treating complex sporting injuries has seen him work with athletes from the Gold Coast Titans, Burleigh Bears, Southport Sharks and Bond Rugby Union teams, amongst other teams. He has worked with international elite athletes from many sports, including soccer, BMX/cycling, surfing, Muay Thai and surf life saving.
